Staff – young lads, were great – who came to do the job. I found the others to be pushy salesmen. The loft looks as you’d expect for money. But the aluminium ladders are dangerous, it’s difficult to click them into place and if you get it wrong they come flying down which has very nearly landed straight on my pets. I’d never access the loft with them or children present. I hate them and will now remove and sell them for what they are worth losing my self £100’s of pounds. I’ve injured my self multiple times. I have asked for them to be removed and a refund but it was a few months after the fitting and so I was told no. Despite me explaining I’d not used them initially due to being mentally and physically unwell for months – ( autism breakdown, potent medication titration and invasive surgery being some of the reasons which they were well aware of). The price for the ladders was extortionate yet they are cheap and rickety. Really unhappy my problem hasn’t being solved particularly due to the amount of accidents and near misses I’ve had … when all I wanted was an unsatisfactory product removing from my home and a refund. On a whole It looks ok….. once up in the loft. But the hatch area looks very rough, unfinished and rushed. I’m not able to leave the ladders down to allow quick and easy access because of the messy finish nor am I confident using them unless it’s necessary. The pole provide is also poor quality and flimsy. The window barely opens and is at the far end so barely lights the area. I’t wasn’t left swept and clean like I’d expect for what I paid and the contraption that attaches the ladder is a trip hazard. Right next to a bloody hole in the floor. I’ve barely used the loft and wouldn’t want anyone else to either as I’d be scared there would be an accident. Not happy at all. I’ll post a video at some point. If I dare.

Poor finish and didn’t do as agreed. Despite many communications they have decided to ignore resolution. You can see my photo of their work on Google reviews. I would never recommend them to anyone. You can contact me directly by PM and I will let you know what happened in further detail.

Had our loft boarded and ladder swapped around yesterday, great service from this company and really happy with the results. Would recommend 🙂

Had my loft boarding installation forwarded last Saturday instead of in February. Couldn’t be happier. Dean & Macaulay installation work was very good and professionally made. Communication was great from the survey by Richard up to the installation completion. They came on time and ensured that I was happy with work all throughout. Now I got the space I wanted for so long as I could keep all my stuff within reach all season, esp for my Christmas decors which are kept in the shed and gets ruined due to temperature changes. Plus hard to access esp when snowed in. Had several quotations for this work but after doing my research and reading through the customer feedback, I opted to go with Instaloft, really pleased I did.

Had the centre walkway and truss shelving installed. Very good job done by the two lovely men. Great communication throughout and went off without a hitch. All cleaned and tidied after the install. Would definitely recommend them.
