Instaloft Supports Children’s Charity, Mission Christmas
For many families, Christmas is a time of excitement. But for thousands of children across the UK, the festive season can look very different. Rising living costs and financial pressures mean that more families than ever are struggling to afford even the basics, let alone gifts for under the tree.
That is why Mission Christmas, run by Cash for Kids, is such an important campaign. The charity works tirelessly to ensure that children who might otherwise wake up to nothing on Christmas morning receive a gift that shows someone cares. This year, InstaLoft is proud to have played a part in supporting that mission.
Our donation will help 75 children wake up to a gift
InstaLoft donated £1000 to Mission Christmas back in November, and thanks to the generous discounts the charity received from its wholesale partners, that contribution helped support around 75 children across the West Midlands.
For many of these children, this may be the only gift they receive and knowing that our support has made a real difference to their Christmas morning is something we’re really proud of.
Rolling up our sleeves and getting involved
On Wednesday 3rd December, our Managing Director, Ben Crouch, joined by several members of the InstaLoft team, spent the day at the Mission Christmas HQ. It was a busy and emotional day, filled with moments that reminded us why the campaign matters so much.
The team spent the day helping with:
• Receiving donations as they arrived
• Sorting gifts by age and gender
• Packing gifts to fulfil applications received from local families, schools and community organisations
Seeing the generosity of local people and businesses first-hand, and knowing these gifts were destined for children who need them most, made a lasting impression on the whole team.
Why giving back matters to us
At InstaLoft we work in homes every day. We understand how important it is for families to feel supported, safe and cared for. Taking part in campaigns like Mission Christmas is an opportunity for us to give something back to the communities we serve.
